Buying Locally
Glasshouse Mountains Village
We support the food miles program and encourage you to buy locally and thus strengthen the local Glasshouse Mountains economy and reduce the need for transportation of goods from interstate and overseas.
The Glasshouse Mountains Village, located 7 minutes away, has:
- An IGA supermarket open 7.00 am to 7.00 pm every day
- Local baker and butcher open 6 days per week
- SPAR Supermart (open 7 days per week 24 hours a day) and Farmers Market with fresh fruit and vegetables (open 7.00am – 6.00pm) at the local fuel station.
Locally produced goods at the Ecolodge
The Ecolodge carries a small range of locally produced goods including coffee, honey, bottled water and a range of jams, chutneys and sauces.
